An eventful year for the Clearview Traffic events calendar

Parking world 2014

2014 has been a busy and fruitful year for the Clearview Traffic events calendar, having already undertaken over a dozen events since the beginning of the year – including exhibiting at the world’s leading industry event within the traffic and transport sector, Intertraffic Amsterdam in March.

As the holiday season is now over and the fourth quarter approaches, we enter into the busiest months of the year on the events scene, which sees the Clearview Traffic diary booked with a variety of specific industry events, coupled with our very own five-date UK Road Shows following the success of last year’s events.

As a business, we are always keen to have a presence at pivotal events that give us – and the industry – a chance to share latest thoughts and solutions to the wider marketplace.

This year is no different as we return to a number of annual industry exhibitions, but also embark on some new ones that are set to give us wider exposure to other market sectors and potential buyers.

September kicks off to a swift start with two new events for the business: firstly the West Midlands HAUC Roadshow being held on 9th & 10th September at Dunstall Park Racecourse, Wolverhampton – Stand R17.

The theme of this year’s event is ‘Safety in Numbers – Bringing Down The Barriers’ and will include keynote speakers from the DFT and a range of topical issues and short seminar sessions.

North of the border the BPA Scottish GP Autumn Exhibition and Seminars is being held on Wednesday 10th at The Dewars Centre, Perth.

In the topical and rapidly growing market of parking solutions, this event will be a first for the Clearview Traffic team in Scotland, and give us further exposure and the opportunity to talk to buyers and key influencers in the Scottish market.

This event gives parking professionals in the region the opportunity to network, share knowledge, and understand more about parking solutions, where the Clearview Traffic team will be showcasing our M300 parking sensors on Stand 22.

We will once again returning to the JCT Traffic Signal Symposium & Exhibition on 18th & 19th September 2014 at Warwick University.

This event gives delegates an opportunity to extend their knowledge on the traffic signal industry, alongside debating new technologies with industry professionals. The JCT Symposium is the only dedicated traffic signal event in the UK proving a vital aid for keeping up-to-date with what’s new on the scene, so come and talk to the team on Stand C1.

October is dominated with the Clearview Traffic annual Road Shows and will focus on the topic of “Smarter Travel” and looking at sustainable routes to unblocking our roads.

We will be visiting five venues across the UK between 9th – 23rd October.

All events are free of charge and are being held at prestigious locations from Glasgow to Cardiff, and this year incorporates a visit to the capital and the London Transport Museum that is already proving a popular choice.

We will be discussing how together we can deliver more sustainable travel using better traffic information to cut congestion and increase road safety for road users, and will also include our keynote speaker, Dr Stephen Ladyman an ex-Minister for Transport and Smart Cities Ambassador for Clearview Traffic.

All events will also include a 45-minute tour of these interesting and iconic venues to add a different dimension, so register today to book your place at a city near you. Please click here.

The 2014 events calendar concludes in November, which sees a return to two popular events, firstly Road Expo Scotland on 5th & 6th November at The Royal Highland Centre where we will be exhibiting on Stand D16, whilst at the other end of the country we will be exhibiting on Stand 9 at Parking World, once again being held at the KIA Oval on 6th November.

Whilst Road Expo is Scotland’s leading traffic management and highways maintenance event attracting manufacturers, suppliers, contractors and clients, Parking World celebrates its 10th anniversary and guarantees public and private parking specialists looking for solutions in both the on-street and off-street arenas.

We round up the year with our final event at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicestershire, home to the 3rd annual Seeing is Believing Conference on 19th & 20th November.

This unique event develops links between supply sector and highway traffic practitioners by creating real situations and hands on access to new products through live demonstrations.

This is a great event to conclude the year, as one of the best opportunities for collaboration and networking, so the team look forward to welcoming you to Stand 32.

As a leading provider of road and traffic safety solutions, traffic data collection, parking solutions and intelligent road studs, our attendance at events such as these is vital to raise awareness and network with industry professionals and like-minded individuals.

We look forward to seeing you at one of these events where you will have the opportunity to learn more about the Clearview Traffic product portfolio and meet our team of industry experts.
