Why your visit to Traffex 2019 won’t be complete without visiting Clearview Intelligence

Traffex marks the beginning of this year’s events season for us at Clearview Intelligence. It’s always a fantastic opportunity for us to meet up with industry colleagues old and new to discuss the very latest developments from Clearview and the wider industry. This year we’re looking forward to it even more than usual as we plan to show, not just tell you about our solutions with dedicated product demonstrations on stand B015:

Wireless vehicle detection

For any application reliant on vehicle detection information you have a choice of detection systems. Whether you are managing an adaptive traffic control system; a route safety application that alerts drivers to another vehicle joining or a queue on the road ahead, you the system to be reliable and accurate.

We’ll be demonstrating our magnetometer-based wireless vehicle detection system as part of a queue protection scheme. During the demonstration you will see just how compact the magnetometer sensor is, learn how quickly it can be installed, and see for yourself how it is just as effective as other systems such as inductive loops or radar.

Furthermore, the hardware that underpins such route safety solutions can be managed remotely using our powerful Insight™ software platform. We’ll be demonstrating how this software can alert you should a fault occur, for example with a warning sign out on your network, so that it can be fixed promptly.

Enhanced delineation

If you have a problem junction, roundabout or stretch of unlit road, enhanced delineation can help. Both our IRS2 Intelligent Road Studs and SolarLite Active Road Studs will be on display for you to see, touch and discuss at Traffex.

Intelligent road studs are a highly effective measure for keeping drivers in their lane, thus reducing accidents. They have been used to great effect on the Sheriffhall Roundabout near Edinburgh and at Switch Island junction in Merseyside. The solution managers for these successful schemes will be on hand to discuss how intelligent road studs could be used solve an issue on your network.

Active road studs use solar power to provide a view of the road ten times further ahead than traditional retro-reflective road studs. They have been proven to reduce night time accidents by over 70 percent and to last for ten years with no requirement for maintenance. See the SolarLite studs for yourself and understand how they compare to retro-reflective studs in both performance and lifetime values by visiting us on B015.

Journey time monitoring

Armed with the right data, you are empowered to manage your network most effectively. Our Insight Journey Time Monitoring Application uses crowdsourced data to tell you where the issues on your network lie, alert you to incidents and detail the traffic flow across your network. Not relying on physical infrastructure, this application is more cost-effective, flexible and scalable than Bluetooth or ANPR based solutions. See the system in action and put your questions straight to our Head of Product, Paul Bates, who will be on hand to show you exactly how powerful this solution is. In the meantime, see our brief introduction to the system here.

Cyclist and pedestrian detection

We are always working on new ideas and on the stand we will be showcasing one of our latest innovations using LiDAR to detect and count cyclists and pedestrians. See the system in action as we present a mix of bicycles and pedestrians to be counted and correctly identified.

Parking optimisation

Being collocated with Parkex, this event provides the perfect opportunity to show you what our parking optimisation solutions can do. Understand the levels of parking intelligence that we can provide, from global car park occupancy counts, right down to individual bay monitoring. Our flexible solution can be tailored to provide only the level of detail you need to effectively manage your car park. See our bay sensors in action and how their sensing is reflected back on the Insight Parking Platform in real time, so that you can see exactly which spaces are free and which are occupied.

We can’t wait to meet you at Traffex from 2 – 4 April at the NEC Birmingham; we’ll be on stand B015. If you can’t make it to Traffex, but would like to discuss any of these solutions in greater detail simply email us to arrange a meeting.
