Clearview Intelligence has won the Small & Medium Business award at the Milton Keynes Business Achievements Awards. Clearview was recognised for its commitment to support infrastructure locally and through its research channels, it found that there was scope in the market for active travel in Milton Keynes. Working in collaboration with the forward-thinking council departments in Milton Keynes, we are currently trialing our latest ClickLite Active Road Studs to delineate the road lanes on PatriotDrive in MK13 to enhance road safety and reduce road accidents.
Since our head office move to Milton Keynes five years ago, we have been on a mission to engage with the local community and use our solutions to improve local infrastructure. In our winning category submission, we detailed our plans for sustainable business growth for the future, outlining our recently created sustainability strategy and explaining how we develop strategy and how we manage to involve our stakeholders.
After a two-year absence, the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards were held at Stadium MK last week to honour the city’s outstanding achievements in business. With a packed ballroom of over 600 guests, the Chairman of MKBAA, Nicholas Mann opened the ceremony with a heartfelt welcoming speech. This year’s theme for the awards focused on ‘MK – Leading the UK’s Green Recovery – Survive, Revive & Thrive’ and like many of the night’s winners, we have shown our ability to adapt our business to be more aware of our environmental responsibilities both now and into the future.
We demonstrated how our charitable causes, carbon footprint reduction practices, giving back to the community, and improving the working environment, are just some of the activities we undertake to ensure we live by our ethos of making a genuine difference. As Milton Keynes continues to grow, Clearview aims to continually be involved with MK Council/ MK Highways to collaborate on further its road safety, active travel and traffic management schemes.
Nick Lanigan, Managing Director, commented: “We are honoured and delighted to win this award. It represents the culmination of our journey over the last 5 years establishing Clearview as an integral part of the MK business community. We look forward to continuing to make a positive and sustainable contribution, helping Milton Keynes achieve the city status it so richly deserves.”
