In light of recent news relating to the safety of social distancing tags (sometimes referred to as ‘sensors’) provided by others, Clearview Intelligence is pleased to advise that its tag technology has now been successfully deployed for several months in multiple locations with no reported health and safety issues. Clearview’s social distancing tag technology is robustly tested to ensure the units themselves are safe for users as well as testing the effectiveness of the social distancing solution for which it is used.
Earlier this year, Clearview was named a preferred supplier by ITV after successful use of its electronic proximity tags on recent live tv products. The electronic tags were used at the end of last year to keep production crew safe during filming of the popular series I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! The show was set in Gwrych Castle, North Wales rather than New South Wales Australia last year due to Covid restrictions and producers did all they can to keep their team safe.
ITV Studios provided the crew with the electronic tags as part of their Covid-safe production plan. The electronic proximity detectors supplied by Clearview Intelligence light up and buzz gently to warn people when they are two metres away from another person and are ideal for outdoor or indoor filming of TV productions or films.
All the wearable tags capture details of each social distancing contact event and then information can be wirelessly extracted to provide an audit trail for the safe management of production teams.
