Clearview Intelligence were at the JCT Traffic Signals Symposium 2022
Smart Technology = safer active travel infrastructure and less congestion as part of a strategic corridor project

Pete Cattell from Clearview and Sean Higgins from Hull City Council came together to discuss a recent active travel scheme in Hull which demonstrates:- how collaborative working and the use of intelligent technology is enhancing safety for cyclists and pedestrians whilst reducing congestion, therefore improving air quality along the Stoneferry Corridor in Hull.
This is the first of its kind (in the city) a multi-million-pound project headed by Clearview and Colas alongside Hull City Council.
Solutions include cycle detection through the Connex™ Active Cycle & Pedestrian Counter-Classifier and provide hazard warnings through intelligent road studs and VMS. Designed to improve safety for cyclists by advising and informing all road users of potential hazards at specific junctions along the corridor.
